We land at the airport of Cebu. Cebu City is the capital
of the Region Visayas and have a population over 700.000
people. From the hillside by night, the city gives,
with its many lights a colourful sight. Cebu is bursting
with culture and history. Also Cebu has many restaurants
with an exquisite cuisine. Here is a place you can
enjoy yourself several days.

Cebu City is an older city then
Manila and has the harbour with the most activity's
in the country. The story goes that once the beaches
were so bright and long that the visitors by boat
had to wade through the water to come on land. This
gave it its original name Sugbo what means "walking
over water". Already the Chinese, Cambodians
and Arabs visited here in the fifteenth century. The
Spanish conqueror Ferdinand Magellan arrived here
in the year 1521. In that year
he planted a big wooden cross at the place where the
first Filipino's were baptized as Christians. Now
this place is a big tourist attraction. On our city
tour we visit this cross and also the old Santa Nino
Church. We also visit the colourful Carbon Market
and follow our way to the old Spanish Fort San Pedro.
In Casa Gorordo we can see old pieces of art. Then
we go to the idyllic Beverly Hills and its Chinese
Taoist Temple. From the Tops Garden we enjoy an magnificent
view over the city of Cebu.

We travel on the fast "Supercat"
to Bohol, the island with the mysterious Chocolate
Hills. Geologist, are still not clear how these nearly
identical hills started to exist. From March until
May these hills have a chocolate brown color.
We visit the Corella and Tarsier
Visitors Center. Here we see the with extinction threatened
smallest primate (kind of little monkey) the Tarsier.
They started a breeding program here, to try to save
this animal from extinction. We visit the waterfalls
and caves. We make a mini cruise on the Loboc river.
We lunch in the restaurant on the boat.

By Super cat we travel back to
Cebu City. In the evening we take the Super Ferry
to Manila, a cruise of around 24 hours. We pass many
beautiful small islands. Depending upon which class
you traveling you have a standard cabin, captains
cabin or owners cabin. Our economy and first class
travelers, have meals provided in the restaurant.
Domestic flights are not included.
We can arranged flights from: Manila, Angeles City,
Cebu and other cities.
This tour is a good follow up on
the ”Samar & Leyte Tour”. The
”Malapascua Island Tour” is excellent
to continue with.
