Malapascua Island, also called Logon lies around 8 km northeast off Cebu and 25 kilometer west from Leyte. A paradise island, with beautiful bounty white beaches. The island has a big variety in landscape. All over the islands are sand roads that brings you over hills to idyllic fishing- villages, deserted bays, mountains, forest with coconut trees, but most of all serene, white beaches. These beaches are some off the most beautiful in the Philippines. We stay in the under Dutch manage- ment Malapascua Island Beach Resort. In the resort you can rent dive and snorkel equipment and it's also possible to book a dive course.

A walk around the islands takes about two hours. It's the best way to get acquainted with the local population, and you will enjoy the friendliness of the people. We visit the light tower on the island and enjoy the fantastic view over the island and the Visayan Sea. By boat we make a trip around the island and will discover several white beaches with crystal clear water. We spend some time sunbathing and swimming. An adventurous day in paradise.
