From Angeles
City (or previous travel module) we go to the never
sleeping City Manila. Nobody really knows how many
people live in the capital city. The estimates are
from 15 million up to 25 million people. Manila is
a city with old buildings, history and culture originating
from the times of Spanish and American occupation.
A visit to Rizal park with its
beautiful botanic gardens and butterfly garden is
on our program. We also are going to visit the old
fort of Intromuros and the wall, where in the year
1897, the famous writer, poet and freedom fighter
Dr. Rizal was executed by the Spanish. We visit the
cathedral of Manila and the heart of the business
center and luxury neighborhood Makati.
 
We can
see the most spectacular sunsets on the bay of Manila.
With the many restaurants, karaoke and bars, Manila
has a sparkling nightlife. We can make a trip in a
Calesa, a nostalgic wagon and horse, or in one of
the many colorful jeepney's.
 
In the middle of the lake Taal lies the island with
the Taal volcano. This volcano is still active and
in many places you can see the steam coming out of
the earth. By banca we sail to the island with the
volcano.
 
We climb on the back of a horse,
and ride in a relaxed tempo to the top of the volcano.
From here you have a beautiful view on the still active
crater of the volcano. By boat we make a trip to see
the many fish ponds around the island.
 
From the Taal Volcano we drive
back to Manila. We have our dinner in the restaurant
of the famous country and western singer, Kenny Rogers.
The next day we visit one of the big local markets
in Manila. Also we visit, a luxury, air-conditioned
shopping mall, where you can buy many beautiful products
for surprisingly cheap prices.
 
Manila, is a city where the rich
and the poor live next to each other. But one thing
you will always remember will be the friendly, always
smiling children of Manila. After dinner we leave
for Angeles City, or the starting point for the next
travel module.
This Tour is ideal as a follow
up of the "Angeles City, Pinatubo-volcano
and Pagsanjan Tour" the "Mindoro Tour"
and/or the "Bicol Expres Tour" are excellent
to continue with.

1 |
After
breakfast we leave for Manila where we arrive
in the late morning. We visit Rizal park with
its beautiful botanical- and butterfly gardens.
We visit the old Spanish fort Santiago and the
walls, of Intromuros. In the evening, we visit
the exotic nightlife of Manila. |
| Day 2 |
By boat we visit the Taal
volcano and ride by horse to the top of the volcano
crater. We have dinner in Manila in the restaurant
of the famous country and western singer, Kenny
Rogers. |
| Day 3 |
We visit one of the big local
markets of Manila. also we go to one of the luxury,
air-conditioned shopping malls. In the evening
we travel back to Angeles City or the starting
point of next travel module. |
