The province Palawan is like paradise
on earth. To the province Palawan belongs 1768 islands.
The biggest islands are Busuanga, Culion, Coron, Cuyo,
Dumaran, Bugsuk and Balabac. Palawan is for a big
part a mountain landscape. Mount Mantalingajan is
the highest mountain of the island group with a height
of 2086 meters.
 
Palawan is a culinary paradise.
On the cliffs and in the caves housing thousands of
birds. From the birds nest hotels and especially Chinese
restaurants make the famous and delicious bird's nest
soup. For the lovers of fish it's the place to be.
Every morning the fishing boats bring fresh colorful
tropical fish, lobsters, crabs, shells, oysters and
mussels. The flora and fauna of the islands is unique.
There are plants and animals whom only exist on these
islands. Having a holiday in paradise, that's the
way you can describe the fantastic nature of these
islands, with its friendly people. On these islands
they shot the movie Blue Lagoon.
 
Busuanga Island, is one of the 1768 islands belonging
to the Province of Palawan. Coron Town on Busuanga
Island is a great base from which to explore beautiful
Coron Bay and its islands and beaches.

fly to Busuanga. Transfer to the hotel in Coron
Town. We discover the town and it's harbour. |

We visit the hot water springs
from Makinit. We walk through the cashew nut plantations
and come to a small beach with a magnificent view
over Coron Bay and the 640 meter high Mount Tundalara.

By boat we discover the area
and other islands with white beaches. |

Relax on the beach and discover
the area. |

We fly back to Manila or Angeles
City. We stay overnight or go to the starting
point of our next travel module. |
